HOW TO GET TO THE HOUSE:
Head for the D117 (see maps below) and when you arrive in Caudies-de-Fenouilledes, take the turning towards Fenouillet, Sournia, Fosse and Vira. You will pass over a railway crossing, past the Notre Dame church, a picnic site and over a green bridge. The road climbs and twists; just keep going. You will see a turning to Fenouillet on your right but carry straight on. Continue until you reach a fork in the road to Fosse, take the right fork and stay on the main road for just over half a mile and you will see a sharp turning on your right to Vira. If you have arranged to get the key from Stuart and Kate you continue on and their gite complex is the next house on the right. If you have arranged to meet them at the house in Vira, take this turning and again the road twists and turns a bit but after five to ten minutes you will arrive in Vira. On your left you will see the tiny village square, Place de Vira. You would be advised to park here while you unpack the car. The left turning just before the square is very narrow. The house is down this little turning, Number 2, Rue de Ferrageal. Once you have unpacked the car you need to drive on and on your right, up a slight incline, you will find the village car park next to the old school, which is where you will need to park during your stay.
